Danganronpa

The anime Danganronpa is an action, mystery and horror anime wherein a group of 15 elite high school students is gathered at a very special, high class high school. To graduate from this high school it will mean that you will succeed in life, but graduating is very difficult. The school's president is a bear called Monokuma, he explains to the 15 elite high school students that their graduation hinges around committing a murder. The only way to graduate is to kill one of your classmates and get away with it. If the other classmates discover the identity of the killer, the killer is the only one executed. However, if they fail to catch the killer, only the killer graduates and the others are annihilated.

Monokuma

Monokuma is the main antagonist of the series. A strange, remote-controlled teddy bear who proclaims himself to be the principal of the Hope's Peak Academy and initiates a life of mutual killing among the students. 

Makoto Naegi

Makoto Naegi is the protagonist of the story, the "Hero" of the story. Naegi is friendly and a lot more down-to-earth that other students. He tends to act passively in conversation.

Kyouko Kirigiri

Kyouko Kirigiri is also a protagonist, she is an enigmatic silver-haired girl whose high school talent is unknown. Through unfriendly and slow trust to others, she is adept at noticing things which the other students don't, which proves vital once bodies start turning up.
