Coppelion

The anime Coppelion is an action sci-fi genre anime where there is a big catastrophe in Tokyo. In the year 2016, a meltdown of a nuclear power plant creates a big catastrophe in Tokyo Japan. 20 Years later the city has become a ghost town due to the high level of radiation from the nuclear power plant. From that area a distress signal has been received. The Self Defense force dispatches three girls from the special unit Coppelion to search for the remaining survivors. The three girls are not wearing any protection suit against the radiations because they have been born to withstand the radiation for the purpose of searching the Tokyo for any remaining survivors

Ibara Naruse

Ibara Naruse is the main protagonist in the series. She is the friend and senior of Aoi Fukasaku and Taeko Nomura. She is also the leader of the rescue unit Coppelion, who possesses super strength. She is equiped with a modified 22 Caliber Ruger.

Aio Fukasaku

Aio Fukasaku is a happy go lucky member of the Coppelion Rescue unit. While not possessing any superhuman abilities, she is a good listener willing to hear other's problems. She eats a lot and has a fondness for sweets, however, she has tended to panic when it comes to facing difficult situations.

Taeko Nomura

Taeko Nomura is one of  the members of the rescue unit Coppelion, she posses heighten senses and one of which allows her to see objects a mile away, she is also very good with animals which is why she was able to befriend a feral dog.
